This is a gentleman who previously had an FUT hair transplant procedure with 2,000 grafts. However, the procedure did not result in good density, with a lot of thinning, a poor graft survivability, a lot of 1’s is placed, and the frontal region is pluggy.

Dr. Sean Behnam performed FUE hair restoration to correct his previous results. These are the results after 1 year. Please notice the naturalness and the density. Please also notice that the plugginess has been corrected. This gentleman’s donor area is composed of a lot of grafts with single hair follicles. In such a case, Strip hair transplant is not an ideal answer as a lot of grafts with single hair follicles are transplanted. This is an ideal case for an FUE procedure. Dr. Sean Behnam individually extracted the grafts himself. All the grafts are individually checked. In this case, the patient received a very high number of 2’s and a moderate amount of 3’s. The grafts are then sorted out and were placed via the use of implanters. Results after 1 year are very promising despite the fact that he had a very huge scar from his first hair transplant.
