Hair line sculpting is a new concept developed by Dr. Sean Behnam. It means physically removing low lying hairs to sculpt a more dense and natural hair line. In this case, this man has class 7 hair loss with very limited donor hair. Dr. Sean Behnam was able to extract almost 3,000 grafts using FUE method and place it in the mid-scalp to bridge the gap. However, this gentleman still had low line hairs that would give the impression of further hair loss. To fill those areas will require an additional 2,000 grafts. However, Dr. Sean chose to sculpt the hair line by removing those low lying hairs and thus giving the hair line a more finish, thicker and natural look. This has several advantages. First, these is no need to lower the hair line further and waste more grafts. The grafts can instead be used to be placed in other areas to create a more thicker and better look, second is that it reduces the number of further procedures. Especially in this gentleman who already has very limited donor hair.
