I didn't really experience any bloody scabs or crusts or anything post surgery...had 3200 grafts (I looked really clean almost immediately following the procedure), but now my scalp is starting to get really dry or crusts are just now developing. Since the operation (now 13 days ago) I haven't actually touched my scalp at all when showering. I've let the water hit the donor areas but not my receipient zone at all. I'm taking cups of water and spilling them on the top of my head in order to wash it. I'll take a cup with shampoo suds in it and rinse my head that way as to avoid touching the grafts. Is this ok or am I starting to get flaky because my scalp needs my fingers to actually make some contact to break up the dirt or dryness or scabs?
It just started getting like this over the past 2-3 days. What do you recommend?
