    Stuck grafts are dead grafts??

Dear colleagues of the "hair battle",

I am in my 5th week post op. Almost all my transplanted grafts shed according to the standard schedule (from 2nd till 4th week), but letīs say between 5 and 10% of them did not fall down and did not even grow like the ones that shed (they grew almost 1 cm before shedding). It seems that they are just stuck in the skin.

May I consider these grafts did not survive the "move" ???, Should i do something or just wait that they fall down by their own?, Is there any chance that below these stuck grafts are some alive coming follicules?

Well, any suggestion and information about it will be appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

This is not uncommon so please do not worry. Simply try to be a little more aggressive in the shower to try shift them - However - grafts can still sit there and wait without shedding - i have heard of this before.

You could try the teaser test. Try pulling one or two slightly and if they slide out all good - if they are firm and do not want to budge then simply leave them alone. There is not need to fear failure.
