I've recently learned that there are two types of implantation techniques.
One is where an incision is made first and then the graft is made with a forceps tool.
Second is where a sharp implanter pen is used where the surgeon creates the recipient site and implants the grafts simultaneously.
Question is, which one yields better results aesthetically.
Another question is, is it more painful where manual incisions are made compared to the pen device? Perhaps one is easier to go through and also maybe doesn't take so long.
I would be very interested to see names of hair transplant doctors and which method they use. And then compare with method yields better results.
I would also like to know if survival rate of the grafts is affected or not.
Regards,
Mike
