You still have a lot of hair. You might not want to risk the possibility of shock loss. Are you on Propecia?

I used propecia for two years and quit 3 months ago.I had watery sperm when I was on propecia 1mg per day. Do you know any efficient and reduced dosage of propecia?I am thinking going at the transplant with dr. rahal.I don't think that with good doctors the risk of shockloss is that big.

Dr. Rahal is great, but if watery sperm was your only side effect and if Propecia was working for you, you might want to reconsider it. Your hair will only get worse in time since hair loss is progressive and even the best hair transplant can not stop this process.

I agree that watery semen doesn't sound like enough of a reason to quit Propecia, but I suppose we all have different tolerance levels for these things.

Were you taking 1mg Propecia? (rather than Proscar cut into quarters).

Some people find that side effects lessen on smaller or less frequent dosages. Monday, Wednesday, Friday is a popular dosage.

They are the same, yes. I was basically thinking about the dose and the ability to easily take less at one time.

With Proscar you are probably taking a 1.25mg quarter tablet. If it was Propecia, it would obviously be 1mg, but could potentially they could be halved. It's trickier to cut a quarter of Proscar into smaller doses.

It's definitely worth experimenting with smaller/less frequent doses to see if you can gain from taking the drug while eliminating the side effects. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence that this can be successful.

By the way, I just noticed you're interested in Dr Rahal's work. Have you seen what he has to say yet?
