This is a post asking for Dr advice.

I had 2 FUT surgeries 17 years ago (year apart, ~1500 grafts) and no regrets it was a great decision, excellent natural results. No one ever guessed, no hair dresser could tell where the grafts were even when I told them. I felt at the time the Dr was up on the latest techniques and he was placing 1, 2 & 3 follicle grafts at angles and natural flow. (i.e. no cornrow)

17 years later my norwood 4 (?) has progressed to ~5a. The top vertex and crown are mostly barren. The original grafts are still going strong on the front so unless you look from above or behind I still look pretty good head on but I would like to fill this space.

I went back to the same facility and it's greatly downsized after losing the original owner. Same Dr and half the same assistants/techs even. So I would expect the same quality as 17yrs ago but also I get the feeling they haven't advanced their process much since. They use a smaller round needle now for higher density but I see most videos now have switched to rectangular blades. I don't know if blade type means anything. They still expect to get only 1500 grafts per operation and that seems low now, I figure like 3-4000 easy for FUT? I should have a great doner area in the back since it still grows thick, and I believe my laxity is good. Price was about 6500 Canadian. I am also returning to Florida, and may be moving to Poland so those are two options too.

I appreciate your time!
