For large procedures I know some HT clinics want you to perform scalp laxity exercises before your surgery. How many weeks before your surgery should you start doing these? Is there a minimum time frame?

4 weeks is more than enough. Be sure to confirm with your clinic they feel this is actually required however. Depending on the actual session you require you may not need increased laxity as virgin scalps tend to have more than enough upto certain numbers.Visit my website: SPEXHAIR

Thanks Spex, I figured I'd try to do some and man, is my neck killing me! If you did these for a month, you'd have the neck of a linebacker when you were done.Comment

Mountain Man,
Here is the latest and most comprehensive video on scalp exercises. At the 3:28 mark I talk about how to relieve the pressure on your neck doing the exercises. Regarding the time to do them it would be wise to start them now and continue till your surgical date, be it four weeks from now or four months.

Thanks Jotronic, nice video. I'm guessing your neck eventually gets used to it. I'm not sure if it's from the muscle being strained or just constant pulling of the skin. Maybe both. But I do understand how it's beneficial. PS - I did call you guys and was impressed with your business.Comment
