3300+ Fue Experience with Dr. John Cole (Atlanta) - March 2022

Hi Fellow hair loss sufferers,

I am creating this post to document my journey with Dr. John Cole. Yesterday I received over 3300 grafts with Dr. Cole.

Brief intro about me. 39 years old, no prior hair surgery. Started oral finasteride recently.

I know that scheduling a good surgeon is a daunting task. Especially first-timers, and we want to see what the what the surgery itself and the recovery process look like.

We started at 7am and finished at 9pm. Dr. Cole and his team were all hands on throughout. He's a very personable fella, and if you're the talkative kind, you will really enjoy his company and the his team which consists of two assistants, RN and patient cordinator.

I gave Dr. Cole the freehand and went by his suggestion, his aim is not to make me look 20, he wants to do whats best for me and what will look good in the next 10-20 years. He also included CRP in my treatment, and boy has it made healing easy.

Currently I am one day post op. I will leave you with my before and post op photos.

Day 2:

Things coming along well. Spraying ATP spray every hour im awake. Slight swelling in the forehead area, nothing too bad but its to be expected.

One month today. Shedding has 90% happened. Slight redness, taking propecia, topical finestride and topical minxodil.

Here’s to the next 3 months of ugly ducking stage.

Dr. Coles office is amazing, Chris keeps calling and checking up on me every week or two. Waiting for a propecia refil which Chris should have sorted soon.

40 days, the shed is real!

Almost 2 months in. Seeing a lot of growth not sure if this was for in any native hair, since everywhere it says it’s too early for transplanted hair to grow.

Also started using Laser Cap daily for 20 min for the last few days, and aim to continue as a permanent part of my journey.

Hi, thanks for keeping us updating. I would love to see more topics from you. I am thinking about Dr. Cole to do surgery for me but before that I want to make sure he is trustworthy.
