Hi had hair transplant in UK clinic on 30th of December paid £5300 they never gave me number of grafts beforehand but said they will do my hairline and address my baldish spot behind my hair line twice in meeting with clinic and before op, then found out after op that they put 3 graft in and then said it was to high risk what I was not happy with so had 1100 grafts what took 9 hours so just after any advise on is donor area overharvested and can clinic pull out of a area on op day to say it’s to high risk any advise be appreciated one pic is just before op and other are now 4month 10 days

Periods are your friend. They make sentences much easier to understand. Yes, clinics can cancel any part of a procedure while actually performing it if they deem it to be too risky, or questionable, if they feel it is not in the best interest of the patient. However, there is something to be said about pre-operative assessments as they are an integral part of the overall process. Better clinics can usually identify issues before they get to them (but not always). There is only one option, which is rarely taken, in cases of overharvesting. Place hair into the over harvested areas, but of course those hairs must be taken from somewhere so this becomes a potential second problem.

Ok thanks John for your replay I just wished that this clinic would of just said before operation and when they addressed my hair before handing over my money but going off my pictures does my donor area look overharvested or shock loss and my transplanted area also looks patchy and low density to and seems to be line of where my hair was and my new transplanted area is but I know I’m only 4 half month in but should I start to see signs of better healing back and front than this cheers for any advise
