    Necrosis From A Hair Transplant - Class # 20

You may have read about patients that develop necrosis after a hair transplant. But what does it mean to develop necrosis? Is there hope? What can you do to avoid necrosis?

joe, can necrosis occur on a much smaller level? like only certain grafts? When necrosis occurs, does it create a void of no hair or can there be some growth (say 50% yield within the areas of necrosis)?

It cand does occur on a smaller scale but not so much on the individual graft level. That's a different animal but it can indeed create a void and partial growth thereafter. Necrosis is not something that takes guesswork. If one has it, it's clear.
