I have discovered that I have an irregular, "S" balding pattern.
The first doctor I consulted (Panine) didn't notice anything wrong and was ready to do the procedure.
I got as far as sending my photos to the second doctor (Konior). After that he didn't reply.
The third office (Aranas and Keller) said that my hairloss might be caused by Retin-A and told me to stop taking it. I stopped for 10 months and went back. They said my pattern was the same and I needed to have a scalp biopsy before proceeding.
Because I can't take a lot of time off work, the biopsy will mean I can't get the transplant until July, rather than December.
Have any of you encountered this situation before? Should I wait and get the biopsy? It seems odd that one office would be so worried while others aren't.
