Month 8 3298 grafts with Dr Baubac

So 8 months ago I took a trip to the US to visit Dr Baubac and his team for an FUE procedure. I had 3298 grafts moved, including about 200 put into an old FUT scar. Let me start off by saying Dr Baubac is one of the warmest doctors I've ever met, he puts you immediately at ease the moment you start talking to him. It's clear he's passionate about his craft. The same can be said about his team, all round good people and a delight to be around.

I think I was a slower healer than most, recipient area stayed red for about 5-6 months! Donor was healed within about a week however. At 8 months the density is really starting to show so though I'd share a pic. I need to contact the clinic to see if I can get some before pics for comparisons sake. The thing Im most excited about is I don't apply toppik anymore!

Anyway just wanted to start a quick thread to give Doctor B and his team some much deserved Kudos. Looking forward to final results.

Whatever your before photos look like, your current hair state looks great so it will be interesting to see where you started out.

Here's a pic of me at 1 month which sort of gives an indication of the state of my hair before. The second pic is 5 months out.



I've been on Fin for approx 15 years at this stage. I also use minoxidil at night and started PRP 6 months before the procedure.

(Edit: I realise my hair is longer in the second pic which probably adds to the illusion of more hair than the first)

Did he have you sign an NDA right before surgery?

Thanks for posting as I've been going back and forth between Baubac but have read bad things about NDA right before surgery and how most of the pics are from 10 years ago. This was on ************ forum so not sure if thats a reputable site. You cant believe anything you read online anymore so not saying I believe any of this, just trying to do my due diligence. Definitely helps when people like you share their experience.
