Hi. I had five hair transplant surgeries in the mid to late 90's from 3 different surgeons. I think it was about 1600 grafts total, micros and minis. I didn't like the results and began shaving my head about 15 years ago. Even though the donor scars on the back are very noticeable, they don't bother me as much as the relatively less noticeable scars on the top of my head (recipient scars). Most of these are pitting scars nearest the top/front center, and there are about 12 to 20 that I would like to have revised if possible, mainly because they always catch my eye when I look in the mirror. I have heard that dermabrasion might help these, as well as excision/suturing. Does anyone have any other idea or experience with this? Getting more hair transplants to camouflage is not an option for me because I am overall comfortable being bald. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
