For those of who you have undergone hair transplants, what part of the process did you find most difficult (i.e., painful, uncomfortable) to deal with? Was it the anxiety leading up to your surgery day? Was it the procedure itself? Was it having your staples removed? Was it the immediate post-op recovery period? Was it apprehension over going out in public during your "ugly duckling" period? Was it the endless worrying over waiting for the grafts to start growing?

If the surgery is done by a skilled surgeon and excellent assistants then the process is actually pretty pain free. The first couple of days are a bit rough as the donor area can get a bit sore. In my opinion the hardest part is waiting for the damn hair to grow in. I had a 1600 unit FUE in April so I am just hitting the four month mark. Unfortunately hair transplants are not a boob job. It's a patient man's procedure.
