What hair medications are people currently using

Would like to introduce myself. I have been on several hair loss talk boards since
    2014.

Could people please tell me what medications they are using
    to save their hair?

    Hi rclark,

Can you list out the boards where you are a member?

    Thanks!

I really like the topical finasteride preparations. we started using them about 2.5 years ago with tremendous success and not side effects in my patients. I'm not saying we will not see side effects. I'm saying that I've not seen nor heard of any from patients I've treated with these preparations. We did have a topical "allergy-like" response to some ingredient, but no finansteride linked side effects yet. Plus, this works far better than the oral finasteride or Propecia. Hands down this is the winner in my opinion for medications.

Ya... pop and it was gone. Well its probably for the best. It was winding down. And of course a lot of the content was awful. I respect the decision to terminate it even though it was so very sudden. A little shocking, right?!

The person who owned the impact site is a good human being. He did speak up for others.

It is unfortunate that the one user who was into Nazism made it a negative experience for other people. That person was banned many times, and some of my friends stopped posting on that site because of the racism.

There were a lot of issues. Anyway, it seems like its been erased. And also the much bigger site seems to be gone, too. So that leaves this one... and of course reddit, which has a billion times the traffic, including about hair loss...
By the way, the person who owned the other site, I think, has posted here before. Like, years ago. So if youre reading this, hi.
Anyway, for whatever its worth, Ill post here sometimes.

I am using Ketoconazole. It is a topical antifungal medication that can be used to treat dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, which can cause hair loss.
