First time poster here, but been reading on the forum for a while.
I'm somewhere around "type III vertex" at the moment: moderately receeded hairline at the temples, plus thinning crown (but no complete bald spot there yet). I've been using Minoxidil for the past few years, which might have slowed the progress, but didn't stop it (no surprise here). So, I think it's time to get a transplant done...
I'm still undecided whether I want to go for FUE or the "hairstem" method offered by the Hair Science Institute (HSI). To make a more informed decision on the latter option, I was wondering if there are any forum members with recent experiences at the HSI. I've searched the forums, and found a number of threads with "HSI" in the title, but all of them were several years old (I found several threads from 2011/2012).
Any recent feedback about, or experiences with the Hair Science Institute (located, afaik, in Amsterdam and Maastricht) would be much appreciated!
