Hello,
I am a 29 yo male showing signs of a Norwood 5 or 6 pattern. Hair loss seems to have stabilized and I am on Propecia. I just endured my first FUT procedure of 2921 grafts FUSS. I am one month post-op and remain hopeful (these first six months are said to be the worst). There is little scabbing now and I haven't seen any shock loss yet (cross your fingers). The grafts were equally distributed throughout the front sections of my scalp, with mild attention paid to the crown. I moved my hairline down about a half an inch, but tried to keep a mature, less-obvious peakiness to it.
I will most likely have one or two more operations in the future to focus on the crown and any subsequent thinning. The donor area still hurts a bit, so I'm a little worried I may have some minor nerve damage. That would certainly suck, but having hair would still be worth it. I'll keep updating my story throughout the years as I battle this beast we call baldness.
Best,
Utahboy
