    Artas FUE: Fail

I am posting a before pic, and a one year pic. As you can see, I don't look any better. (Actually a little worse) 2000 grafts with a So Cal doctor. Doc wants to see me at 15 months. I am a healthy guy in my 50's. Wondering why this did not work. Should I ask for my money back? Is that reasonable? Should i even consider another transplant? Click image for larger version

    Hi forpsych,

Sorry for your situation. I hope things get better.

Unfortunately, I have not heard promising things about the ARTAS methodology. If your situation does not improve, and if your doctor has a good reputation utilizing strip or FUE, you may want to try and come up with a repair session through one of those techniques.

I think you really cannot blame ARTAS robot for that bad result. ARTAS is just an amazing machine but without right operator and committed knowledgeable team it cannot achieve desired results. It is just like a Formula 1 Ferrari - it will not win the race without good driver. There are plenty of great ARTAS results just check out before afters at the clinics

I think that if you can live without having another hair transplant then that is the way to go. Asking for a refund is certainly a reasonable way to go if you were given any sort of guarantee.

Reasonable to request refund. Trust me on this, it's better if you pass on future repairs. You are probably better off doing nothing, then next is using concealer, then next is getting a custon wig that only covers your bald spot, then last route surgery. Thats if you feel you need to do something. Dont damage yourself more and if it doesn't grow again, you are wasting your time money grafts and peace of mind.

I am really going through a lot and the last think id want is for someone else to go through something similar.
