    Shock loss or MPB?

I had a small hair transplant procedure done on the top of my head for a bald spot that I have had since I was born. It has been about 2 months since surgery and I have developed a lot of hair thinning on top. My surgeon did fill that area behind my bald spot with the leftover grafts because my hair was thinning a little bit but not very badly. Now I don't know if my native hairs will grow back Eventually or if it is permanent shock loss due to accelerated MPB. I am 21 years old by the way and have not been using minoxidil or finasteride. Any thoughts would be great! Thanks

It's hard to tell without seeing photos from before the procedure and without knowing exactly what area was treated. At 2 months it is still very early days and as you probably know it's too soon to judge how effective the procedure was. It's possible that you have experienced some shockloss. It's not uncommon.
