When are you done? How much is enough?

Here's an interesting question for the group: How much is enough? Obviously a lot of people here have hair transplants and many people here have more than one HT. How do you know when to stop? At what point do you decide you "won" and have enough hair and have risked surgery enough? How many people had three surgeries and in retrospect only wish they had two? Where is the point of diminishing returns?

Most average 7000 grafts in prior to age 40 even as a slick bald norwood 6, that can easily be covered in two 3500 graft surgeries. I saw a result by Civas a few days ago with 3700 grafts with a low hairline, and FULL coverage of a fully bald norwood 5. Add SMP to create the illusion of density, and you should be fine beyond that.

Ideally 1 FUT and then 1 FUE surgery for maximum results.

It certainly seems like most people get much less than 7000 grafts.
