2000 Graft FUE procedure but not happy

    Hello,

I had a FUE hair transplant done 8 months ago. The total number of grafts planted was 2000. Thus far, I am not happy with the results. Here are some before and after photos.

I wanted to know if 2000 grafts is not sufficient for for the desity that I am seeking, or is 8 months too early to judge.

Another thing that I am now begining to question is whether the procedure was not performed well.

    Thanks

Your hair does look a lot better. But I am no expert and the photos aren't really that great since you never show the entire top of the head and not totally lit so we can see. But it does look a lot better. I am not 100% sure what 2000 grafts should look like but i have searched google numerous times before about 2000 grafts. You used them in a really small area so perhaps you are right that it should have been a little thicker. I am not sure.

But I do think it looks much better than before.

8 Months is still early to judge the final result. It’s very possible that you lost some of your original hair to shock loss and that the net gain will be less then expected. It’s also very possible that within 12 months or so that you’ll see a great improvement in the overall look and density. 2000 grafts is a relatively small procedure by today's standards but should still improve your situation.
