hey guys thinking about a HT need advice.

    Hello,

I am a 24 year old male with a receded/ thinner front hair line. This is normal in my family for the males. My dad and uncle have the same hair line. Other then that we all have full heads of hair. I'm not worries about anymore hair lose. My hair line receded around the age of 19-20 and hasnt changed since I was 21. I am however wishing I had a fuller frontal hair line. So I was wondering if HT would be a good option for me. I most likely would need less then 500 grafts. I'll post some pics and see what you guys think and of you have had a similar thing done.

Are you on finasteride? Going through a HT would make your assumption moot since there's a risk of further hair loss from the trauma of a HT. You can lessen that risk by being on meds. That's only one risk based on the info you provided, there are many other risks and you should do your due diligence and research.

        Welcome brother,
By "local hair doctors", he means REPUTABLE, IAHRS surgeons that are WELL respected. Take time and do very, very thorough research. DO NOT make hasty decisions based on vulnerability. remember, that in the HT world, there are A LOT of parasites that will take your money and leave you looking disfigured with a huge scar on the back of your head. I am NOT trying to scare you, this is reality. If you give us your general location, we can recommend doctors around your area. DO NOT even think about stepping foot into a place like Bosley or any other main chain clinic. Post some pics and we will help guide you.
