PRP + CIT "non-strip" hair transplant method testimonial

    Hi all,

Since offering a few new treatments as of several months ago, we await confirmation of more significant effects from PRP before we begin publishing any patient result. Although we have seen positive effects in the operating room and in our photo lab, we now recognize how the majority of our patients can benefit from PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). Quicker healing, less swelling, and less skin discoloration are primarily the positive effects that we have been observing since treating our 100th PRP patient. Many of these patients are veterans and return patients so the changes are very noticeable to those who have previously experienced our CIT method. Currently, I have been in conversation with multiple patients and they have said that PRP has made their last session the best CIT "non-strip" hair transplant session. At the moment, I would like to present actual testimony that these words stand true. We look forward to furthering our efforts and discovering better ways to apply this intervention.

I have seen similar results and have had patients with similar comments after having their procedure. This has been true for the strip and non -strip type procedures. We still need some more time to really see all the benefits of PRP.

Have you noticed any changes in yield with PRP? Thanks.

No real significant increases in yield yet. We are still hopeful.

So, after one week, all the swelling and redness is gone from the recipient region? Is this typical for PRP injected patients?

Testimonial - PRP (platelet rich plasma) treatment

            Hi Buckerine11,

We have observed early regrowth in a strip scar grafting case. The transplanted follicular units began sprouting through at about 1.5 months. The shorter hairs were counted and compared to the pre-existing hairs surrounding the strip scar. The transplanted hair grew to about .70cm in length, but the native hair surrounding the scar was inches long as it continued to grow. It was very exciting to see a positive effect in the recipient area, not solely the donor area. This is interesting to say the least. New and different effects from the treatment can being seen in our operating room from day-to-day operations.

Healing with CIT is usually complete at day 10, but recovery time is about 50% quicker with PRP. I have already been in quite a few conversations about how the procedure was a breeze as far as comfort and fast healing helped expedite the return to normal activities. I can't wait to see more in the near future!
