You could get by with 1200 grafts to produce enough visual coverage to take the reflection off the scalp yet the area of thinning will no doubt spread larger so the imminent question is, "Are you taking low dose finasteride?" The area where you are diffusing and thinning is where finasteride is most effective.

Have you tried Rogaine Foam in the area? That can also potentially thicken things up without having any surgery for the present time.

      Hello Gillenator,

      Thank you for Your answer.

Yes, I started with propecia about 1 year ago. The hairloss stopped.

I will try minox, hope it Works.

      Best regards

It seems to me that your crown does NOT look bad at all.
I feel that surgery is not needed at this time.

I thought the crown was one area where Dr's tried to stay away from working on as they didn't want to use up grafts on the crown not knowing how much more hair you were going to lose .
The thought was always to use the grafts to frame your face first .........

I had a surgery 6,5 months ago. 3500 grafts were placed in the Front area.

I will try minoxidil. Hope it Works.

            Thank you guys.

I agree and the thing about the crown area is that it can potentially take up as much as 60% of one's available scalp donor for those with advanced loss in the crown.

I would say please reconsider getting an HT in the crown right now. There are too many factors at work here and there is a great probability you will regret it. I think most ethical clinics will turn you down anyways. Stay on Propecia, it can continue to work. If you have absolutely NO sides, then consider dut? or maybe even RU in addition. HT's are A LAST RESORT.

There is no need to add any more than 300 FUE. If at all possible, pursue non-surgical solutions before proceeding with surgery.
