    Hair growth timing?

    Hi all

    I am at 3 and 1/4 month post ht, now I am getting growth from maybe 3weeks ago but just in patches, and fine velous hair as expected,I understand that hair growth will begin at 3-4 months.

    My question is will the new ht hairs only sprout out from the scalp only in these months (3 and4)?
    Or will new hairs be coming out at months 5 and 6??

    The transplanted hairs will usually start to grow about 12 weeks post op. You will start to noticed a good difference about 5/6 months post op. The transplanted hairs can continue to grow in up till about 8-9 months post op. The end result with a hair transplant will be about 1 year post with most people, but for some indivduals it can take as long as 18 months for the final results.

      Everyone tends to grow in differently - on average 3-4 months is the start and growth can continue in for several months after and then it matures after that. This video will hopefully help :
