    Transplant hair to forearms

Hi guys and thanks for a good forum.

Need some strange advice here. I am a male with NO hairs on arms at all.
This is starting to bother me so I would like to transplant just a light coverage to my forearms.. But there is lot of question..

    1) Can it be made so it looks natural?

    2) Is it possible to extract very light hairs from legs and hips, or does the hairs have to be thick and dark as the donor?

    3) Any doctors who you think have good BHT experience, and wouldn't charge a million?

    4) How many grafts do you think is needed for 2 forearms, with light converage and light hairs??

Thank you guys for your time.

Very interesting. But may I encourage you to be very very careful with this. To date, and after 34 years of following this industry, I have not heard of anyone doing a procedure to enhance coverage on arms/legs.

I have heard of several patients using BH taken from the legs and transfered to the scalp. I think it will be very difficult to find any cases of what you are seeking.

And I doubt very highly that there have been any meaningful trials of BH to body or head donor to body. There have been differences noted in the growth cycles of BH as compared to scalp hair which are still unconfirmed or proven/verified in a clinical setting.

My suggestion would be to inquire with Dr. Umar and my guess is that he has some information on the subject.

But may I also strongly suggest that if you do pursue this, to do it with small test sessions before committing to doing both arms entirely. You may find alot of variances with regrowth/yield and duration of the growth phase.
