    What's your opinion?

Looking to get a hair transplant and considering Bosley for men. Does anyone out there think this is a bad idea?

Good thing you found this site. You'll learn a lot here. You really want to stick with doctors in the IAHRS.

Don't know of any good places on Long Island to get a hair transplant. Can you recommend some one good.

Thanks, sounds like you did your homework. I will get other opinions besides Bosley and make my decision.

International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons.

Established in 2001, The International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons is the only society ever to be recognized by Consumer Reports, Consumer’s Digest and Web M.D.* for its commitment to hair transplant patient education and safety. The IAHRS does not extend an open membership policy to all physicians who practice surgical hair restoration. Its elite membership seeks to represent only the best in the discipline, the true leaders in the field of hair transplant surgery.

Young men need to think about what they may look like down the road when they lose more hair. Dr. Cole is repairing the mess another clinic made of my donor area. in 2006, my hair began thinning all over, most likely because of a type of food supplement I was taking along with an anti-allergy medication. In the South we have a local comedian who once said:
"Never consider yourself a failure, you can always serve as a bad example".
Hopefully showing this nightmare photo of my donor will inspire young men to do their research.
Although my hair looks a lot better now, my donor is still thin and there is much work to be done. Dr. Cole has been extremely generous with me in helping me to look normal again. If you hear me favoring beard and chest donor hair, this photo should serve as a good reason why I feel this way.

                              Hey Nelson.

Can we ask how old you are and can you snap a few quick pics and put them up so we can see whats going on for you?

Maybe you dont need a hair transplant. Maybe you need 2 transplants

You might want to try finasteride , minoxidol to combat your loss. Its far easier to prevent further loss than it is to surgically replace it.

I had a guy in Colorado tell me he can dense pack the hairs to 88% original density but I found it dubious. I think 50% is the max science can achieve so far.

                              Hope this helps
