This is a young lady who developed Traction Alopecia. Over 2021 grafts were placed on both the edges using the FUT method. You could see how naturally it blends in. Dr. Sean Behnam uses minimal number of singles so it creates thickness as well as naturalness. Please notice it blends in naturally and it frames the face very well. It makse a huge difference in one's look. Dr. Sean Behnam have a special staff that are an expert in working with curly hair and ethnic skin. This is very important. Typically, the grafts are thicker, courser and curlier. Different sized instruments must be used to create the incision sites. Different patterns are used to create a design that looks natural and dense. Especially with curly and thicker skin. The entire philosophy is different than performing hair restoration on caucasian gentlemen. The skin is tougher and thicker. The placing can be more challenging, the angle of the hair needs to be going in a forward direction so when you comb it backward, it gives a double thickness. Dr. Sean also uses ACELL to increase graft survivability.
