      Looks great.

How long does a patient have that racing stripe on the back of their head usually and do people shave down the rest of the hair below the stripe to blend in a more traditional look?

I apologize for asking such questions.. but if you would be so kind to offer some type of suggestion or solution..to after surgery life it would be greatly appreciated..

With FUE you can easily shave it all down to blend in and within a couple of weeks the redness has all died down and the shaved hair has returned uniform to approx grade 2

Yes - In about 5 days, the hairs in the shaved down area start to regrow, and the donor site will heal up to being barely if at all detectable. The surrounding hair can also be cut down to blend in as soon as 2 days after the procedure.

I have never had a crew cut but is it possible that when the surgery is being done....just before the injections etc...the hair could be cut down to that length so when you walk out of the office...its relatively uniform?

Must take all of 3 seconds to cut the hair down to that length in the office and it probably makes it easier for the doctor to perform the necessary work?

Yes, we do shave the head down uniformly if requested. We also have a hair stylist who is available to see our patients on the 2nd day after surgery, to completely trim the hairs if desired, otherwise one of the assistants in the office can do a complete head buzz.
