This nice fellow had a plug procedure done 20 years ago. He had poor results and has been wearing a hairpiece since then. We did an initial repair 2 weeks ago, and although he had a pretty tight scalp, we were able to get nearly 2300 grafts. His central donor area was really scar-filled, but the sides were fine; albeit with thin hair shafts.
Shown are his periop pics, and he'll likely have a second produre next winter.
He was able to resume wearing a hair piece, but not gluing it on the recipient area, at a week.
