    We found that with the patient’s diligent use of minoxodil 5% her circulation and tissue improved!

    That is amazing and that's a good question. I guess since the skin was grafted too the hair grafts were able to take and grow. I’m just guessing of course.

    Amazing Dr Ross! Was this not a third degree burn? I thought that problems with circulation and functions in the deeper layers of skin such as lubrication of follicles etc result from a burn.Thanks

  • Assault/Burn Victim Case 7501 FU's w/ Dr. Brandon Ross

    56 year old female suffered burn wounds to crown and higher occipital region during an assault. Her scalp tissue was replaced with skin grafts, leaving her with asymmetric bald areas, and scarring.

    Patient uses minoxodil 5% on a regular basis.
    She has had 3 FU procedures. Pt. has very fine hair. Kept some "Follicular Families" together

    1st- 2614 FU’s
    10 months apart
    2nd- 2205 FU’S
    1 year apart
    3rd- 2682 FU’s
