    Dr. Wong/2313 Grafts/One Session/10.5 Months

This local patient came to Dr. Wong for improvements to his temples and his hairline overall. 2313 grafts were used in one session to improve the areas of concern. His 10.5 month results are shown below with a liberal amount of gel used to establish his preferred hair style.

Hello.....i am a long time looker but first time poster. I LOVE THIS RESULT.... and is very close to my hairloss pattern. After years of research and waiting until i absolutely could not style my hair or hide my hairloss any longer i have finally scheduled an appointment with dr. shapiro! I would love to see a picture of the graft placement and know the density that he was transplanted at!

Sorry bighose, no post-op shots of placement. The density is most likely about 50 per cm2 but don't hold me to it.

Over 2000 grafts were used? Seriously? If you asked me to guess based on the pictures, I would have said around 1200.

              Buckerine11,

That is because you are used to clinical photos being shown where flash was used on the camera. This makes hairlines look twice as thick as reality and almost every clinic does this. I have proven this many times in discussions as has Spencer. We do not resort to this practice. If you were to see 1200 grafts in the same area of placement it would look quite thin. This result looks the same if not better in person. In addition, the temple points were modified for this patient so some of the work was not in the actual hairline but on the sides as well. I hope this clarifies the issue for you.

Joe, i just wanted to personally thank you for all the time and effort you have put in on these sites. thanks to you and coming across your story i started my research. i have been looking on a few websites for years and thanks to yourself and the other faithful contributors i have ended up on the proper path. if i haven't came across your story i might have went through with the recommendation i received over 8 years ago from one of the popular advertised clinics. i definitely place Hanson and Wong at the top. i recently had just under 1800 graphs via strip into the hairline. thank you Dr. Paul Shapiro. everything looks good and healing well. it really means so much to me to have had someone take the time to educate people and without your help who knows what would have happened 8 years ago! i consider myself one of the lucky ones. eventually i will figure every thing out and get my web blog up with my story and pics!

                  Bighose,

Glad I was helpful in the least bit to keep you out of the chair for one of the chain mills. Spencer can help you get a blog up, just send him your pics and I'm sure he can help you out.

                  Thanks for the note,
                  Joe
