    Does my crown look 'iffy'?

Hey there. Haven't posted in a while, haven't needed to because I've been pretty happy with my hair. Accepted the fact I have a mature hairline - no thinning, just a more concave, 'V' shaped hairline. That's cool, I'm 22.

I've also posted about my crown, and was told I shouldn't worry, that that's fine also. I just have a parting, light hair, and a red scalp. No thinning or loss. Fine with me.

I've been to doctors, derms, you name it, and they've said my hair is fine.

So anyway, my hair has gotten fairly longer than I usually wear it, and I was speaking to some friends about whether I should just leave it to grow long... not hippy style, just longer than usual. They said I needed it cut, because the sides are thick and my fringe is quite long. Then my friends girlfriend said "get it cut because you're going a bit 'baldy'. Well that's MESSED ME UP GOOD STYLE, and I've started the whole taking pictures of my hair again.

SO! As I said, I feel my hairline is fine:

So that's not the reason my mates girlfriend said it to me.... but she wouldn't have seen my crown, as I'm taller than her.

But that doesn't look 'baldy', does it?

HMMMM. What do you guy's reckon?

    Muchas gracias.

Wait a bit, and then casually over dinner suggest that maybe she shouldn't eat that extra portion or that having a desert wouldn't be wise. All you have to ask is; are you going to eat that? Alternately, you can ask if she's expecting.

Your hair looks fine, I wouldn't even say your hairline was particularly mature. That girl is obviously insecure and trying to be funny.

your hair looks nice, however you must be very careful.
It looks just like my hair when I started finasteride, I was about 24.
Now my hair looks a bit worse than yours even though I have been taking treatments since then. (By worse I mean the hairline, my vertex is much more dense). If I never had finasteride maybe I would be 50% worse now. Remember it is always easier to maintain what you have.

                jonnykino,

Trust me, this could get you slapped.

Since you are so concerned about it, talk to your doctor about Finasteride.
