Stopped minox for six months, will I get back to where I was if I resume?
Hi everyone, I quit minoxidil six months ago after three years of use (not so serious about it) because I thought it wasnt really working and that it made my hair frizzy and dry.
I buzzed my hair really short today and it really is a complete disaster. It was such a wake up call.
Has anyone done this? Stopped minox for a while and then started again? If it is only to maintain whatever's left of my frontal hair, propecia alone will probably take care of this. It wont be worth the hassle, the shedding...
Thanks a lot for your advice guys.
On a sidenote, I really regret buzzing my hair as advised the balding looks so much worse.

So no one has ever experienced this? Stopping rogaine for a while and getting back on it?

People have done this before with good results but I have also read reports of it being not as successful the second time around. I don't use Minoxidil myself but I figure if something is working just stick with it.

Get back on minox, try propecia and nizoral.
