So what do you suggest I do?
Do I just try a small dose of the fin and see how I do on it? And do I throw in the Minoxidil and shampoo?
Try fin for a year or two. Keep photos! Eyes will trick the shit out of you! If you are unhappy with the state of your hair you add Rogaine, its a hassle. So why resort to it right away?
This is a 'long term battle' not a over night one. Post progress updates every month (if you want) but try to do it at least every 3 months.

I would also go easy on complicating things with different shampoos in case that is aggravating things. Use mild ones - or - cautiously - Nizoral 1% not more than twice a week.
Thanks for the advice. I might "ride it out" for a few weeks b/c i think the itch has something to do with the MASSIVE shed im going through right now. If the shed subsides and I'm still itchy I will look at getting onto the foam.
I am using Nizrol 1% (the one with conditioner) twice a week.

I think I'll try it like that. If I don't like the Fin I'll quit it. I think I've learned that the long term side effects only happen in like 1% of guys. Especiall starting at a low dose like he suggests.
I'm gonna need my family doctor to prescribe this right?

Good advice right there. Maybe jump on a 1/2 dosage of FIN to begin with. Get a script for Proscar or Procepia and away you go.

Now if I'm taking half a pill...what is the pill half of?
What mg dose do I ask for. And I want the cheapest possible because I'm a cheap b#$tard But not when it comes to results. So I'll buy the cheapest that works. But it seems to me that as long as it contains the active ingredient in Propecia...Fin...something. That I'd be good right?

Get a script for the 5mg proscar, its cheaper. You will need to cut the tablet into qtrs to receive the 1mg (approx dose) however if you want to do a half dose (0.5mg) then cut in half again. These will last you ages.
I do the expensive option Procepia (1mg tabs) for convenience - but horses for courses.

The cheapest would probably be generic Fincar 5mg. Most people cut it into 1/4ths and take 1.25mg dose a day. Some others take skip Thurs/Tues.

Hey Fellas, I am using ‘Finpecia’ which is a generic 1mg Finasteride.
I cant be bothered cutting pills, plus it can be dangerous if there pregnant women around.
I use a website called ‘the swiss pharmacy’ if anyone can find cheaper let me know
