Default Is this the secret PGD2 Inhibitor that Cotsarelis was referring to?

Heres the companies website, with their upcoming drugs in clinical trials.

    The drug is called "OC000459"

It's being developed for asthma and in oral form. They don't plan making topical for hairloss, and I doubt taking it orally would be safe or effective against hairloss.

    It's probably 2-3 years away

    Holy sh##! It is TOO

According to clinicaltrials.gov all their Phase 2 studies have now completed! Here's the link:

    http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/re...&Search=Search

Assuming they start Phase 3 by March 2013, we should have this product FDA-approved by September 2014!

The future's looking very bright and looks like Costraelis was right about it being available in the next 2 years!!!

P.S. Its actually great how it is in oral form NOT an inhaler. Hopefully if it has the right physiocochemical properties we can find a way to make it into a topical preparation

    Here's some interesting facts about Oxagen's OC000459:

    1) Phase 2b is finished and the results are published. Here's a small outline of what they found in their latest trial (Phase 2b):

    http://www.oxagen.co.uk/pdfs/Oxagen_...ec_19_2011.pdf

    2) This is where they stand at the moment:

"The company is in the process of moving its OC000459 programme forward to position it for Phase III pivotal trials"

    Very happy right now

Man I'd rather wait 18 months and make sure its safe than to risk my health on a completely experimental treatment that may not even work!

    holy...
damn, someone should buy it and try it

I suppose it cant do any damage, but the price is whoooah. More than $300 for 1 gram. What should one dilute it down to? 1% mix?

But we're just guessing now. I hope it will be even more successful than cetirizine.

The folks over at HLH have been using this for awhile now, so far the results are roughly the same as the people trying cet. They are having trouble making a vehicle with the OC as its not dissolving fully.

Those trials are for asthma though right? Wouldnt it be done differently for baldness?
