Pushups/pullups after a hair transplant?
I've been reading this site for a while and every time someone answers this question it's kinda wishy-washy ("ask your surgeon").
But here's the problem:
I had a hair transplant done a few weeks ago by a great surgeon. I asked her what exercises I could do so as not to mess up the scar (I had the strip done). She said, honestly, it's sort of my call (can't remember all the reasons, but there were many).
So I'm asking y'all.
Can you do push ups if you have a strip scar?
I don't feel any tension, but I want to know if anyone else has had the strip method done and did pushups (and even better, pullups, which I miss doing already one month after the surgery) and was that safe?
I don't trust my own judgement on this.
Just because I don't feel any tension doesn't necessarily mean I should do it in my way of thinking.
So I'm looking for opinions from people who have had the strip method (or whatever it's called) from the donor area. Can you do push ups and/or pullups? And, how long after the surgery did you find it to be okay?
(I'm exactly one month out.)
Any feedback on this is appreciated.
I know it's ultimately up to me, but I'm just curious what **others'** experiences are.
Gracias!
