    Need advice please (pics)

Note on above: Looks slightly worse in above frontal pictures than it does when I look in the mirror. Possibly because of the lighting making the thin parts look less visible.

    How I wear it:

Still usually looks okay at front when pushed forward.

How my hair sits on the sides nowadays. Frustrating.

My forehead is shaped in such an outward bulging way that I look terrible without hair on it but good with hair on it. People tell me I look like a cancer patient when my hair is too short. So balding is not an option for me.

    Onto the story...

I have something very important in 4 months and 1 week time that I have to look my absolute best for.

I'm tossing up going on Minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo now but am worried that it will cause me to shed and look worse in 4 months when I need to look my best.
But at the same time I don't want my hair to get worse before I start treating it and slowing down the loss.

(I'm optimistic about this new Prostaglandin D2 solution to MPB so I think if I can keep as much of my hair as possible till that comes out in a couple years I'll be happy)

    My questions are:

    1) If I do nothing for 4 months before using Minox and Nizoral, is there a big chance it will get much worse and I'll regret not acting sooner?

    2) If I go on Minox and Nizoral now is it likely to make it shed much and look worse in 4 months for my important event?

Out of the two above options, which would you recommend?

    3) Does my hair look like it might go bald in the middle as well as sides?
As you might have noticed it's thinner on the right side near the center front of my hair. Does that mean something?

At the moment I'm in a semi state of constant paranoia about balding and I so far haven't shared it with anyone (except these forums now). So any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I'd just start using it ASAP. Not everybody sheds, and even if you do there's no telling how much you could shed. Plus the hair in the middle of your hairline looks like its thinning a lot

Can a mod please delete this thread?
For some reason there is no delete button or even edit button where it should be (definitely logged on when trying).
The options just look exactly the same as posts by other users.

I'm seeing an actual doctor who specialises in hair loss so do not need this thread anymore and would rather not have my pictures up.

Please delete or tell me how. Thanks.

If the mods do not delete your thread for you, you can delete the photos you have shared from wherever you shared them.

BYW, you do have more than the development of a natural and normal adult mature male hair line going on. I am glad to hear you have decided to see a specialist.

Parker, I wouldn't delete my account just because I am going to see a specialist!! You need to remember, the more data, the better understanding of any situation! I have one question for you... If I may, Parker, How old are you in these photos???? Dont feel ashamed, or embarrassed about your photos. Your hair loss is mild, and hopefully treatable. Keep your spirits up!!! I feel your pain my friend!!! Best wishes!!!

Thanks Tracy, you've been very helpful.
I actually got lucky when I called up this morning with someone cancelling their appointment so I got one today. Usual wait time is 3 weeks.

Not deleting my account. Just for privacy reasons I would prefer not to have my pictures on a public forum indefinitely.
