I do not want to try to guess because that simply would not be ethical. I do know that it is not many. Most who use this medication properly will regrow the hair that sheds out. An exception should be made for males who use this medication improperly, such as using it on their hair line. Most males cannot regrow hair in their hair line, especially temple hair. This limitation of this medication does not apply to females who use it.
I don't know if i'd say using it on the hairline is "improper" I've never been told or read anything that says it's bad to use it on the hairline and if anything it helped slow the loss on my hairline.
It is however more effective on the top of one's head and is moreso meant for that, but i see no reason to not apply it to your hairline as well.
