    Default My hair loss

    Hi

I noticed my hair loss last year, It started off with a burning sensation on the corner of my crown and that's where the hair loss began. Now it is spreading though out top of my scalp. I feel the burning sensation here and there and is worsened at work due to chemicals and dust. I have not tried any medications but have been taking vit b complex 100 and biotin 1000mg. I also tried nioxin step 1 shampoo but show increased shedding. Even though I used it for 2 weeks my increased hair shed has not stopped and I have stopped that shampoo more than 2 weeks ago.

I have done all the basic blood tests and they have come back normal except for my carotene levels were high. My level was 5.9 when the level should by 4.0 umol\L, Is this high enough to cause hair loss?

I have heard this quite a few times being said, that vitamin A causes hairloss. That's why it's not recommended for air loss sufferers.

well im not working with chemicals any more , I guess i just have mpb, is it common to get rapid shed all of a sudden. My shedding was slow before but now it just falls out when i touch my hair. I tried noixin shampoo and conditioner, and ever since i have been getting rapid shed, I stopped that shampoo after 2 weeks but my rapid shed is still going.

I believe my carotene was high because of my multivitamins, i stopped taking those vitamins and go another blood test done and it was normal. If my hair loss is from the accutane i took years ago is there any way to stop it?
