Side effects of PROPECIA!!

Hi evryone,i was hoping you could help me with this one.12 months ago
i started taking propecia,but could only take it in the off season and had to stop 4 months later as i am a proffessional footballer and up until recently propecia was a banned substance.it was banned because it concealed steroids etc.

Now that it is no longer banned ive been considering taking it again,but after consulting with our team doctor he seemed to think that it would have an adverse effect on my game as it would be decreasing the amount of testosterone levels and mess with my hormones.for those of you who dont know anything about football ,it is a very physical game and you need to be slightly crazy to play the game as you have to put your body on the line and cannot hide from any physical confrontations on the pitch.i think the doctor worries that i will lose my physical and mental edge without the much needed testosterone.are his concerns justified?

This got me thinking after having had the conversation with the doc that during the period when i was taking the propecia 12 months ago, which coincided with our off season ,all my weights personal bests had roughly gone down by 20% and i remember thinking that i felt really weak.this seems to marry up with what our team doc was saying,but maybe i am reading too much into it.

Please could those who know the ins and outs of propecia and its effects on hormones etc. advise me on whether it would be a good or bad idea to take them??
