I suppose it's my fault, but any help would be great!

    Hello all!

It seems i finally let my hairloss get the best of me, i've been losing my hair for a few years now, but these last few months seemed to have just really taken a toll on what used to be a full full FULL head of thick hair. Anyway i had a question, or questions really.

    1. would anyone know of any credible hair loss doctor (specialists?) in the los angeles area?

2.or anybody that has luck with any products the would recommend?

i'm 26 and the hair loss is pretty bad, but the worst part is, is that hair loss is nowhere in my family not my moms side and not my dads side (well my fathers father was losing his hair before he passed but the dude was like 85!) none at all.

anyway thanks in advance for any help anyone might have!

I am sure that there several very good hair restoration doctors in the LA area. I do know that Dr. Kenneth Siporin and Dr. Marc Daauer do excellent work and take a lot of pride in each case. Nice guys too. You may want to consider some hair loss prevention options as well such as Propecia or Rogaine.

Manurenoir it’s always best to determine if it’s dietary or environmental cause at first and always consult a doctor last as they can only advise you to take medication or have surgery. In other areas they are mostly clueless. Since you have no hair loss in your family it could very well be something in your diet. Clean it up and reevaluate your situation.

how should we determine if it is dietary or environmental? when it looks like mpb and no hairloss in family.

Very interesting, so it seems that genetically, you should have great hair. This always puzzles me. There could be a chance that it is some vitamin/mineral deficiency if you indeed are not genetically balding.

Good luck, and I would research more and would visit a capable doctor who knows more about non-genetic balding.

It’s called empirical evidence which is deduced by observation. It is also the way medicine was meant to be practiced before it was hijacked by the pharmaceutical whores. You should know if you are eating crap or not you tell us.

Eliminate the garbage and make observations over time. This is hard for most people because they have been conditioned to expect the quick fix and the quick fix usually just digs a deeper hole.

If you honestly believe you should not be balding due to your genetics than there could very well be another and the answer is not taking medicaiton for the rest of your life because a doctor thinks it's a good idea.

Genetic hair loss has been known to skip generations. If it does turn out to be dietary or environmental there is a possibility of some recovery.

thanks so much for the help guys it's really helpful, i'm thinking it might be a number of things, one i've used head and shoulders clinical strength dandruff control shampoo for i'd say a good 5 years, but haven't found anything linking that to hairloss.

i eat meat at around 7 times a week which i know is a ridiculous amount so i've been trying to cut that down drastically.

is there a way a doctor would be able to determine if these things would have a correlation with my hairloss? that's the main reason i'd like to see one before i resort to pharmaceuticals.

again thank you guys so much for the help!

Why is eating meat 7 days a week bad? Eating food that comes in a box or plastic bag 7 days a week is bad that’s because it’s not real food. The absolute biggest threat to your health is “please consult your physician” it should be “please read some books”.

Every study that portrays meat in a bad light completely disregards the source of the meat or how it is prepared.

Upload your photos to a photo hosting site like photobucket. Once that is completed you can copy and paste the image link located in one of the boxes below the photo and paste it right into your posting and the picture will appear. Too many posters here like to use the thumbnail photos which are complete shit and show nothing. Patients need up close in your face photos that actually show something.

                          some help

Hey. I have tried just about every kind of shampoo, minoxidil, herbal concoction in pill form and topical and the only products that I've ever had any success with is 15% minoxidil, Proctors Nano shampoo and Nanogen VEGF serum. I have never used Propecia for fear of the sides. 15% minox was banned in the U.S. a few months ago and now it seems there is a problem with Nanogen VEGF serum. Haha! Can't win! I initially purchased 2 bottles of VEGF serum and when I was almost done with the first bottle I could notice some growth on the hair line(Long wispy black hairs and some grey hairs)I have brown hair so they were noticeable. This was the only change that I have made to my regimen for a good while. I was pretty excited and went online to get some more and it has vanished!! I called the company that I went through and they said they had issues with getting it through customs from England, which is were the Nanogen company is located. Called another company and they said that there was an issue with labeling or something, so I'm hoping that this gets resolved SOON because the 2nd bottle is almost gone and it does really appear to be helping. Proctors shampoo seems to help fill in the very top of my head were I had overall thinning. Doesn't seem to do much for the back or front though. Hope this helps you a little, I'm just going with trial and error myself(Mostly error!)
