Default Donor scar visible through hair line (hair not short enough?)

    Hi,

I'm 4 days into my first hair transplant recovery and I'm very happy with the results in the recipient area. Unfortunately, my wife and I noticed that from behind it is "very" obvious that there is a crease in my hair line.

It appears the hair isn't long enough to overlap the donor scar/staples and you can even see some of the scalp shine through in small patches.

My hair length was ~6/8" in the back for the procedure.

Has anyone else run into this before? Any tips for covering up? How long it will take to conceal naturally?

I'm so bummed I'll be going back to work in 2 days and it'll be obvious something happened to the back of my head. :'(

    Thanks,
    John

Would it be stupid to suggest you go to work using Nanogen fibres on the donor area?

You can get the spray version.

    Thanks for the quick response.

I read about that, but it looked like it was for the top of the head. Do you think it would stick and build out the thinning area around the donor scar?

And should I put any thing on the scar before applying the fibers (e.g. polysporin) to protect it... and maybe help it stick?

Sorry - this stuff is all new to me.

I thought it would be a pretty stupid idea but I dont see why not - I think they give you a spray to hold all the shit on.
