Why have a transplant if you want to keep it that short?

I don't let my hair get long, but I do let it get long/thick enough to conceal the thinning in the back. You can get many years more as a "non balding" guy if you let it grow out/thicken than if you buzz/shave.

I don't understand going to the trouble/expense of any kind of transplant if you want the buzz/shaved look??

You haven't had a HT , so you don't understand

At the time I had it done there was no plans to buzz my head . But, 12 yrs later , and further hair loss, I realized I was never goign to get the look I wanted . I would have had to go back for 3 or 4 HT's and I didn't want that.

And Jeremy Piven now wears a rug

this doesn't look bad at all, especially to an untrained eye. but it doesn't mean I want one.

I'll trade you my virgin donor for that sweet donor hair with the scar and all you got.

Your donor scar is barely visible and yet yours is more visible than mine.

Strip does not always leave an ugly easily visible donor scar. A gifted surgeon can hide it pretty well.

Sorry misunderstood. If treatment ever stops working for me I still would not get one for the sole reason that most of my problem is vertex and Hair docs say that area will never stop trying to expand.
