I disagree. He needs someone credible who understands what is going on to explain it to him as well as educate him about his options if he does have a problem brewing.

Gutted,
You are wrong. Everyone who believes that same foolish nonsense is also wrong. You can bark about it all you want. You are still going to be wrong.

There is various research papers available questioning the differences between frontal loss and crown loss - at the end of the day it is HAIR LOSS/BALDNESS.
deal with it. it is the absolute truth backed by research.
please stop this "natrual", "mature hairline" nonsense - it is a pattern of hair loss most men experience as they age (like with crown loss) which neccasarily doesnt indicate crown loss that just HAPPENS to stop at the hairline.

Absolutely not, because it is not nonsense. This crap you keep shoveling is nonsense. Now it is past time for you to stop. Your nonsense has now upgraded to complete BS, and it has gotten quite old. You are making a fool of yourself. Quit while you are behind.

go and read some good papers and you will be aware what utter nonsense you have been brainswashed into believing.
hair loss IS hair loss no matter where it occurs.

My derm looked at my head for 2 seconds. Literally 2 seconds. Said I was alright, my GP said I was alright, he said it was normal for the hair to thin (Also told me fin was used for people that were already BALD. From that day forth I decided never to see one of these retarded ****ers.
3 months later my hair gets way worse, so yeah, unless your derm isn't retarded I don't see why you should go

Benzzro,
You need to see a dermatologist who specializes in treating hair loss. I would not be surprised if a regular dermatologist told you that. A specialist will know the difference between the natural and normal adult mature male hair line and MPB. You needed to see a specialist who has experience in this matter. That is what I am advising the OP to do.

I would go on soft products like Minoxidil/Nizoral at 18. Monitor your hair for at least a year, then go on the hard stuff propecia at 19 or 20 if it gets a bit more severe.

i perfectly understand his reaction. OP is good looking and hair is a huge part of looks for some ppl (ex: those who can't pull off shaved head). Losing something that you used to have or that you used to have and others didnt all of a sudden can be life changing.
