    Default Shen Min

I tried this years ago. The only thing i've ever seen give some people results. I've also heard it called Fo Ti. And the scientific name is He Shou Wu. It's a Chinese herb.

Here's the deal. Don't take it in pill form. Its a hormone altering herb. Supposedly raises estrogen levels. But Shen Min as a topical formula is okay to use.

My dad used it. He grew some hair back on his head in reverse. The last hair that fell out was the 1st hair to grow back. Didn't grow much. I'd guess that he grew back maybe 3% of his hair Over the course of a year. If that. The hair came in jet black mixed in with his gray, so it was easy to spot.

I tried it for a year, and it did absolutely nothing for me. Didn't grow back a single hair on my head.

I recommended it to my aunt who was thinning. She had great results in thickening her hair. I've heard that women get better results than men with it.

Its supposed to be a DHT blocker . Whats wrong with it in pill form ?

3% is not a lot of hair really . What about keeping his existing hair or even thickening them ?

No. 3% is not a lot of hair at all. at the time, yes it did slow down his hair loss. and regrow 3%. Not great, but better than continuing balding.

Not good to take in pill form because it stimulates estrogen production. At least that's what I read. Works better in females than males.

I agree ,its great if it slows down the loss .

In my situation (i am 36 ,NW5-6 ) but when i look at most hairs that are shedding or at the top of my head . They are so thin you can hardly see them . I am guessing this is due to the affects of DHT and may be blocking that somehow will get those hairs thicker again .

Perhaps i need a stronger DHT blocker but i strongly refuse to take fin for obvious reasons
