Default 2 hair transplants, 1 huge donor scar, hair still shedding. Any advice?

Hey fraternity, my name is Erick. I will keep my story short! I have gone through 2 procedures already. The first I did when I was 21 and the 2nd at 25. (I am now 26) I honestly feel a little bummed out sometimes because I did not expect that I would need multiple procedures to have to see results. This wasn't mentioned to me the first time nor was I informed of the possible stretching of the donor scar. Anyways, at this point losing my hair isn't my first concern anymore, its the donor scar. Its very wide, I would say almost 3/4 of an inch from ear to ear. The thing that bothers me is that I can't cut my hair short on the sides, so if I eventually do end up losing most of my hair on top I wouldn't be able to shave it off or even cut it short because the wide scar would be very noticeable. It really sucks every time I go get a haircut, its very stressful!

Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone out their has the same issue and if so what are you doing or have done to camouflage it/fix it?

    Any advice???

Your story has happened to thousands and thousands of guys out there. You will also hear that it doesn't matter as hair transplant patients do not get a hair transplant to cut their hair short. This is complete bullshit meant to convince you that you are making the right deciision.

Your only real option is to have hair placed there by way of fue. At 3/4" you have a fairly large gap of no hair so a tattoo is of zero help and a revision could easily stretch back.

IMO, you were much too young to get a HT

    But you are not alone

This is me, I said F it and buzz it with a 1 1/2 guard

    And
".....so if I eventually do end up losing most of my hair on top ......"
    you probably will .

Lots of HT's look good when they are first done
But in 5, 10 or more years you will lose more hair and you need to keep goign back to fill in what you continue to lose or you're stuck with a glorified comb over
