They haven't yet. They are a public company and can't just vanish like that. However, they probably only have about 6-9 months worth of cash left.

Don't know the exact science with it but essentially both are in Phase II but Histogen has been getting great results(from what i've read, the worst performer got a 40% increase in hair density in the injection area after 3 months, best getting around 60-70%) while Repicel the best performer so far has gotten 10-15% increase in hair count/density.

Repicel needs to go back to the drawing board, Histogen looks like it's well on it's way to Phase III.

Replicel = Injections of patient's own cultivated cells.

Histogen has been getting incredible results EARLY. Replicel is on their way to having same or better results. People are just a little negative because it's a step, not a leap to that goal.

Histogen on the other hand, just happen to make that leap

Ah ok got it now. However is Histogen going to be used as a regrowth application? As in stimulate existing hair or vellus hairs to become terminal? Does it have anything to do with reviving dormant follicles? Or will Replicel be the appropriate application for that? eg growing hairs on bald areas

My opinion is that histogen will be a short term solution where many of us can get many successful results. Replicel will be the long term cure but who the hell knows when they will perfect it. Histogen will buy us plenty of time until replicel or something else comes out.

Spencer did a few interviews with Histogen, I recommend you listen to all of them in their entirety.

Histogen did inject in slick bald spots, and got regrowth. Just listen to interviews, great inside info.
