I've participated in several clinical trials, as a healthy volunteer, and they always ask "any other symptoms or issues to report?"

So in all these trials you say have taken place with equol, no one has reported any hair growth.

Have any of the trials dosed long enough to produce hair growth?

Even if not, there should be some DIYers who have taken large doses over a long period. Where the f*uck are they?

a lot of these trials are to measure other health benefits... so they test women with menopausal symptoms or something like that. Normal women won't grow more hair with DHT blockers...

2020: from the OC thread you said that was the "CURE" now your also saying this EQUOL is also a "CURE". So we have 2 potential cures for hairloss yet no companys are producing this stuff directly for hairloss? Seems strange, it's almost like they hate money and fame for finding the "CURE"

So I guess nothing to look forward to? No company is planning on surprising us with a good hair loss drug in the near future? not even Merck whos propecia patent will end soon?

I'm now convinced that there will NEVER be anything available on the mainstream market apart from fin, dut and minox. EVER.

so long as the problem exists., there will be a far superior treatment than all 3 combined.

kirby: there is far to much money to be made in the hairloss industry. There are quite afew companies working on products as we speak, all wanting to get out first to get there market space set, no doubt a new company will want to better said company and release a newer better product. mind you the company that comes up with the cure will be so dam rich.

exactly, so long as the problem exists, there will be alot of money to be made, lets just hope these newer companies dont bring out an inconvenient "everyday use" product.
